The food here has been so awesome! We went and had dinner on a patio a few nights ago at a restaurant called "Havana" They had mojito's on special! There menu was really modern but everything had a cool twist to it. My veggie burger had a avocado relish on it, which was so delicious. I have been trying to go to a new coffee place every morning and so far my favorite has been "Turks" they serve imported Milano coffee and it is so awesome! When I drink it I think of in pineapple express when he compares smoking it to killing a unicorn, thats like Turks coffee... Its so good that its almost a shame to drink it. I think I might go get a cup this morning!

Update

So I arrive on Friday afternoon and I forgot how awesome planes are! I had a window seat and the weather was amazing so I was able to see the Rockey's perfectly. When I landed I took a bus into downtown Vancouver to wait for my sister and brother in law to get off of work. I went for a skate down to Granville Island which is an awesome marketplace on the waterfront. Skating in Vancouver is so much scarier than London or Windsor. You get to crusin' down one of these hills and before you know it you have picked up a tonne of speed and an intersection is fast approaching so I ruined my favorite pair of sandals from having the constantly drag my foot on the ground to slow myself down. My brother in law Geoff and Sister Crystal drive a really awesome 1974 VW Westfalia which must have had the same problem I was having slowing down on the hills here because this weekend I spent most of the time in "Matt's Auto" helping Geoff replace all four break pads and shoes as well as re wiring the emergency break. From the look of the breaks and how rusted out they were they havnt seen to much love. Vancouver is a pretty easy town to get around in because you can always tell which way is north because there is a huge mountain range that you can see from anywhere in the city. We got to take a Gondala 3000 feet up to the top of this mountain and we saw a tonne of wildlife. A lot of the animals were not int here natural habitat. It was all mostly man made, more like a zoo. Most animals were either being rescued, raised and kept here. A few (moslty the wolves) were actually retired animals from movies, the way they actually just laid around all day reminded me of old retirees. I was waiting for them to bust out the shuffleboard and play a few rounds. We went out to eat at an awesome sushi restaurant called the "Eatery" had some of the most packed sushi rolls ever! definatly could not eat them in one bite. I still havn't completely gotten over the jet lag so I am falling asleep right now even though it's only 10:30 here im used to it being 1:30 London time.

Procastination

So it's 1:15 am and I am sitting here munching on some delicious pineapple (probably the best fruit!) waiting for my laundry to finish, and I can't help but be reminded of how much I procrastinate. I had been planning this trip to visit my sister in Vancouver for some time now, but actually committed to it and bought my ticket early this evening. I of course went out after I bought the ticket and jammed with Devan & Tracey before going to meet up with some friends to say my goodbyes before I leave. I don't really think that procrastination is a bad thing, to me it's more of a personality trait, but procrastination has such a negative connotation to it. I like to think of it as being spontaneous. My flight leaves London at 10am so I suppose I should try and get some rest if I have to be up at 6am.
